There are long wait times, expensive prices, poor service and other things that drive people away. When people are sick, they want to be taken care of. They do not want to have to hassle with other things which could potentially make them sicker. All of us want to see this situation improved because it is not fair to the people of Essex county.

The chief of police in Essex County, Roger Baker, has come under fire recently from his superiors for his alleged back-to-basics methods of interrogating witnesses. He sends out his deputies to collect statements and his supervisors say this is very inefficient.

However, the number of offenses in Essex County has dropped by 13,000 this year and residents are very happy that every time they report something, an officer comes and takes a statement. Critics say that it takes valuable man power away from the streets and the beat. Either way, Essex sure is getting a lot of press these days.

Her inclusion into this field has given her confidence a large boost she said. Now she has proved those bullies wrong and no longer dreads going to school. She entered the contest on a whim, not expecting to advance far, but has been delighted with the results. Her mother, obviously her number one fan, has been thrilled with how far she has gotten.

New Nuclear Plant in Essex County

The plant will cost about four billion pounds to build and will take a few years to construct. Nuclear power plants have long been a source of contention for those living in England and across Europe.

People are upset about this development and cite the meltdown of Russia's Chernobyl nuclear power plant as an example of their fears. That meltdown, in 1987, caused the death of thousands of people and the radioactive fallout from the plant spread far to the north and west and touched most of Europe.

Two Essex Citizens Await Extradition Decision

Michael Binnington and Luke Atkinson were vacationing on the island of Cyprus a while back. While there, they were sitting in the backseat of a car driven by Atkinson's uncle.

The three had earlier been involved in a fight outside a night club and they sped off after a moped they believed had something to do with the fight. The uncle ended up hitting the moped and the three were charged with manslaughter. The two adults are in the UK right now but must wait for the verdict on whether they must be extradited to Cyprus.

Those in Essex are not the only ones who may be feeling a bit disoriented by this news. Companies all over the world are buying up other companies at a fantastic rate. It seems that the smaller ones are all becoming run by a few dozen multinational firms. This has set up a few odd pairings. Budweiser was recently purchased by the Belgian company InBev. Perhaps Essex County's location is the cause of its safety. It is to the north of London and perhaps all of the deviants and general dregs of society live in London, and Essex is far enough away to be safe from all these people. The London Underground can be a dangerous place at night, but there is hardly any such concern among the residents of Essex County.
